Trent Alexander-Arnold did not elaborate further on his long-term future at Liverpool with his contract expiring at the end of the 2024/25 season, adding that winning trophies is “the most important thing”.

And the defender outlined his intentions to one day become captain of the club, but admitted that is “out of my hands”, reiterating his contentment to be at the club this season despite no assurances towards a long-term future at Anfield.
